Here's yet another BoyBlue hold to add to the Puzzle Vault.
It begins with a short "
qualifying exam"
intro level, which pretty much ensures that the player can handle wraithwings, adders, hordes on trapdoors, and can solve a relatively simple (but still tricky) puzzle. Once that's done, you enter the main hold, which consists of a large hub level and three branches.
This is probably one of the more accessible BoyBlue holds yet, as there are some relatively easy puzzles like Main: 1N, Main: 2E, Golems: 1N and Gel: 1N scattered around just to make sure players can get a foothold and start solving *some* rooms. On the other hand, this hold still features that well-known BoyBlue difficulty, as there's at least one really difficult puzzle for each level.
Take your time, look at each room carefully, and take in the sights. After you beat the Intro level, this hold becomes pretty open-ended, so there's plenty of puzzles available to work on if you get stuck on one particular one.
I really enjoyed playing through this hold and figuring it all out, and I'm sure plenty of other people will too.
