×I begin by stepping on to the tile releasing the roaches, allow the guard to enter the swordless area, step to the NE, go south, guard kills bugs one, two and three but I am forced toward an end rather than back toward the swordless area. I gather I need to keep getting the guard onto the swordless area. Where am I misstepping?

I think I'll stop here for now. If this isn't enough, let me know.

Thanks. After a lot of experimenting, I perfected the two-step and moved on. And I thought it was a waltz!!!!

I've mastered the two-step (as well as a couple of variations later on) but that final group of six roaches and one roach coming in from both sides confounds me. I can't manage both sides fast enough, and if I run for the brain right away I can't filter everything into the hallway for an orderly melting.

I'm assuming there's some easy way to pick off the bottom roach quickly and then return to the upper group, but I'm honestly not seeing it, even after I took a break from the room and came back to it.

EDIT:

Wow, I'm awesome, I did it. That last part required some thinking outside the box (or the dance floor, I suppose)

Hi , I feel rather sad and stupid, but it seems like in real life , my dancing skills are, how to put mildly, well rather inadequate.

More specificaly I can not seem to start the dance. can some good soul please point me at least on the first few steps killing the first 3 roaches or something ?

I hope you know how oremites work, and how guards move when they try to kill you. These two skills will help a lot.

Anyways, here's how to kill the first 3 roaches:

I've just followed my instructions and they would appear to be valid. Are you talking about the other (secret) room which looks very much like this one?

Only other suggestion I'd have is to download the latest version in case it's changed. Does your room match the room in the picture?

I'm trapped just a few moves before the "six from one direction, one from another" . . . namely, when there are seven northeast roaches and two southeast. I've attached a demo showing how far I get - where did I go wrong?

Well, you do everything right, just don't go up to the checkpoint in the end. Instead wait one turn, and then move NE.

×Move straight up to the oremites, but pause once so that you hit the X just as the guard goes on the oremites

Click here to view the secret text

×Move SW

Click here to view the secret text

×Move NW and pause (the guard will try and kill you and move back on to the oremites

×Pause so the guard turns ready to kill you
