It's evident I need to keep Beethro's sword pointing northeast. So far so good . . . but there's the matter of the monsters.

I've tried getting rid of them in different orders - snakes/brain/roach mother, brain/snakes/roack mother, etc. In no case can I open enough daylight between Beethro and the snakes, and handling roaches quickly becomes fatal. What should I really be trying?

You should really try to get to that orb as quick as you can - then you can try to get the roaches and the queen, or alternatively hide from the brain in the little arrow-box.

You're right - I should have mentioned that the orb is first.

I can get past the first spawn. Also I have tried to make the snakes go for the little trip suggested, and even had made one of them get trapped with the other snake and get killed. All ot these in different attempts to get to the queen. but, no matter the way I approach I can´t get to kill her. I would really appreciate any idea....please? please?

ok, that made the difference....that and the fact that I realized I could move along diagonals as long I didn´t hit the orb. Thanks for your help
