The difference between this room and the one east of it is that there's an easier way to solve this room, while in the secret room you do have to do what's mentioned in the secret tags.

Of course, with direct movement only and a flat rectangle interior, there's no way to set up enough separation between Beethro and the guard so that the guard will go into the center block, so you'll need to add a handy "wall hook" to catch the guard on.
