I'm beginning to feel like a masochist! I am stuck, stuck, stuck~!


I can't figure out how (after 4 days) to hit this orb without getting killed. I've been trying to use queens to block some of the chambers, but the spawn count gets me before I can reach it.

I think this hold is stretching my skill level but I (sob!) can't find anything else to play.

Please a hint. Is my strategy wrong?

you are better off not hitting that orb first

I can't believe I was sooo stupid. I think posting problems clears the little gray cells. I mistakenly thought, I had tried every combination. (Before reading your posting), I methodically started to try again. Naturally, the first one I tried worked.

I still have 2 rooms to conquer on this level, a tar room & the one with wraithwings (bats to me!). I'm confident about solving the tar the other however..... If I manage to complete this level, I can't wait to see what new devilry awaits on level 4.

Well, that's all well and good, except it doesn't help me in my situation. I got that part all figured out by myself.



I can't do the phase triggered by orb 1. After finishing off the roach queens in the top cells, a lot of roach queens build up in sections 2, 3, and 4. I can kill a few in 3, but can't fully clear it out, nor make any progress in either of the other directions. Any tips for managing this god-awful hackfest?

i solved this room in the following order:

first i hitted the orb which is unnumbered in chaco's room image, than the one behind number 4 (in the right corner). next was number 1. the trick i used for it:


the orb under number 2 was the last i used...

Unfortunately, orb 3 opens door 4 to orb 5, so this is all I can do at the moment.

I got it earlier - I just went for the bottom roachqueens first instead of the top, and it was a piece of cake!
