I'm the keeps-to-himself Arnold who is kind of shy but puts an effort to being friendly, asking for help if needs it and trying to contribute to a conversation the best he can.

Well, I'm certainly not Arnold as "the Governor" "California." That's just a movie, right?

I'd have to say I'm most like Arnold in Total Recall for these reasons:

1. Like Arnie, I think I've never been to Mars.
2. Like Arnie, I've never shown any indication of having the skills necessary to be a superspy.
3. Like Arnie, I once beat up a bunch of brain surgeons.
4. Like Arnie, I once pulled a tracking device out of my brain through my nose.

And finally,

5. Like Arnie, I can't shake the feeling I'm in a really stupid movie.

Hiyall. I discovered DROD through Jayisgames.com some time ago, when it was on the front page. I've been an occasional user of Hints and Solutions since then (Well, starting from level 24 of AE ...), but I finally thought to actually register. It might be I'll have something more to post now and then. :wave:

I'm like Arnold in Conan, because I like poking things with swords. It's one of the reasons I took a liking to DROD too. It's much more civilized and moral to do the poking in a computer game these days.

Also, I'm about as good with modern technology and table manners as Conan the Barbarian. So clearly that Arnold is most like the Arnold in me.

Well, I doubt Arnold in Conan could have enough computer skills to:

A. Get enough into Indie Gaming to find the Jayisgames site.
B. Get interested in a puzzle game, download and/or buy it.
C. Get to the 24 level without getting too stuck. (That is fantastic by the way, I'm really impressed by that.)
C. Finally get stuck in a room and resist the urge to throw your computer out the window.
D. Spell accurately.

So, I think you are 100% smarter than that Arnold, congratulations!

So, it happened again, another Newbie joined up your ranks of skilled DROD players. Your Welcome Text was really well written, i´m a great fan of Arnolds Movies aswell, especially the Terminator Series.

I guess i would be the cold, steel straight forward thinking Arnold of Terminator 1, only focussed on my primary goal. So, well here i am

Well, I just watched my first four Arnold movies in the past two days. Terminator 1 and 2, Total Recall and Last Action Hero. I figure now would be a good time to finally answer the question properly.

I think that I'm more of a Total Recall Arnold, at least the first ten minutes or so. I have a one track mind, believe that I'm someone important but don't know exactly what yet, and I want to go to Mars.

Plus my real name is Howzer... okay, I'm stretching it a bit now.

Well, I've finally been lured out of lurking.

Let's see. I'm nearing the end of grad school, a point in one's career in which it becomes abundantly clear that it's time, or past time, to bring things to a close and go elsewhere to new beginnings as a postdoctoral researcher. I guess this makes me Mr. Freeze, sitting at the end of a franchise past its expiration date, and yet to be followed by something new, different, and above all better.

At least, that's my preferred interpretation.

Agreed. Don't do it to yourself. It's a little-known fact that the "visions of hell" scene from Event Horizon is the actual result of viewing Batman and Robin in its entirety. If that doesn't convey the true horror, IMDb's quotes from the movie will. I'll refrain from posting them here for fear of accidentally summoning a Great Old One.

Really. It's bad. And therefore irresistible as an Arnold choice.

Yep. Provided you don't watch batman and robin seriously, you watch it as a comedy, you'll love it. The film is not just bad, it is so amazingly totally awful that it's superb!

I don't want clues for the game, also. Just read the contest with the DROD numbers and found it fascinating. Also I went through (almost) all the contest entries and I found some very interesting... so was curious who was winning... but then I decided to vote for myself, because there were a couple I liked a lot...

Well, a quick scan picked up a couple of refusals to answer and one request to be Arnie's girl. Someone else pointed out that Arnold spent much of the movie Junior wearing a dress.

Of course, on the numbers front there's Mathinator...

I have been asked how I answered, but the Arnold question was post just after I joined so I didn't get answer. Currently he is my Governor and while I am very political I am not that Arnold. I am much more conservative then he is. As there are no female Arnolds, I am more of the Sarah Conner's character in The Terminator series (just not as good looking).
