Okay then. I modified the post, and now I finish day 4 with -70GR (which means that I can't buy anything until I am in debt, but I do not lose as long as I get income). And why you didn't update my entry in spreadsheet? I activated my second town and placed a guard there.

I saw that Maurog showed his without a down day in between. I wasn't sure so I didn't assume. I am adjusting it for day 5 to show the same as Maurog.

CORRECTION NEEDED: I attacked Maurog Lich Necropolis not the Vampire Mansion. The day4.xls shows NO hits on Lich Necropolis but 2770 hits on Vampire Mansion. By my calculations I show I hit Lich Necropolis with 5350 attack hits (see below how I got that). I could not see anyone who had attacked the Vampire Mansion.

I show the strength of my squads as:
Cair Paravel MY Squad A=900/D=600
Anvard Slayer squad A=1175/D=770
Lantern Waste Guard Squad A=600/D=935
total attack each attack is 2675 * 2 attacks each = 5350

Now if I am calculating wrong please tell me where my error is.

I believe that since Cut Chamber hasn't yet been attacked (as of day 3) and my squadron there hasn't taken any damage, that I still possess ten roaches and a rock giant that are all intact at perfect health. (at the end of day 3)

*Get Cut Chamber Negotiator #1 to begin negotiating for one Slayer unit

*Have Cut Chamber squadron attack Castle of Miraz once.

There's an error in the summary of day 4, as I only have 290 spare cash not 340. (Although I really don't know why I'm complaining :) )

Anyway day 5:

Techant, You were right that I was wrong on the attacks. You were wrong on the amount.

Someone else, you messed up on your researcher. You can't just buy them.

Whoops, I just realized I don't have enough left to pay the upkeep on day 6. I guess I lose.

But it doesn't matter. Despite what The spitemaster claimed, there were no "limiting factors". Since negotiaton of any amount of thinkers is possible, the optimal strategy was activating 29 towns on day one and hiring 25 negotiators, ending up with 20-odd activated and squadroned towns by day 3, each with 20000hp.

I'd like to politely ask spitemaster to figure out how much Spare Income I have right now. I unfortunately wasn't keeping track as the days went by (as they passed pretty quickly) and I'm now unaware of this amount.

I'm attempting to calculate this amount on my own currently, but I'd like to be able to check my amount against spitemaster's to see if I got it correct.

(I have to take into account both the fact that I bought a rock giant on day 3 and I was negotiating for a Slayer unit on days 4 and 5, which I should have for day 6, so I spent extra money on upkeep those two days. Nevertheless, I don't think I went bankrupt on any day because I had plenty of margin in my budget so that I would still be receiving positive income during research)

I would do that too, except for some unknown reason I was sure the game has some sort of mechanism that limits progress, and since nobody answered my question I kinda assumed it's the "only negoatiate for one thinker at a time" rule. You can see how that would work to enforce nobody progresses too fast. Of course, there weren't really any limitations, nor reprecussions for opening all your towns on turn one.

By the way, are you factoring town defense in your calculations? When attacking a defended activated town, each of your units does 20 less damage.

The town defence, I never saw that(hitting myself upside my head). I understand your frustration about your questions not being answered I have had the same frustration. I am glad you at least could tell me this answer. THANK YOU +2 mods for the help. :thumbsup

You do not lose the unit if you can not pay upkeep only if you can not pay and they are attacked. Also while you are charged upkeep on the non-income days you do not need to pay it until the next income days.

Besides according to this new information. If attack your Lich Necropolis this next turn and you can't pay upkeep on those unit they can't defend it if the walls come down, but by my new calculations you would still have 3040 left after my attack.So the units are not needed to defend unless other attack too. Then you would still have Vampire Mansion and Wight Barrow.

Eb0ny keep on entering posts. I think The Spritemaster should correct Eb0ny in the spreadsheet. We have all not understood things and have not gotten our questions answered so why should Eb0ny suffer.

This should be clear. The only way people can lose is if they stop receiving income. The worst thing that can happen to you is just losing characters if you blow extra money. (Although if it is a day that you are purchasing something, you just won't buy it) Ebony the only reason that I didn't update yours is because of the errors on it. I use it to keep exact track of everything that is happening.(Even though it is still wrong some of the time) If you don't put your changes into a post I won't realize that you changed something.

I know you are busy but Something is Wrong!
Both "???" and Maurog and I have research projects that take 15 days but can be worked on by both researchers. On the day 5 xls my project show 7 but their porjects show 5. I started the first day and worked everyday with both researcher. Only Maurog project allowed for more then 2 reseracher but he only has 2 so that doesn't matter. Either I should have 5 days remaining or they should have 7.
