The trouble with most watches that display the time in binary is that they don't display the
time in binary, they display the decimal digits of base-60 time in binary. So 10:39 would be
0001 0000 0011 1001, or maybe 1010:100111 if you're lucky.
What they
should do is keep hours the same and divide each hour up into 64 "
minutes"
.
Then you can easily tell half-past, quarter-past etc, and you won't be too far off if you need to catch a bus or something.
