This room also has me stumped for quite a bit. Sadly I still have no clue at all how to kill one of the two roaches. I tried to move the wraithing to block one of the roaches but the wraithing would move anywhere but diagonally. Hints on the bottleneck is appreciated.

After one month of attempts, I've finally conquered the room by combining the hints to something I understand.

Arghhh . So simple seemingly, and yet so difficult.

I can see waht the other hints are aiming at, and I probably though t along those lines myself, however what I can not figure out for the life of me, is how to push the queen towards the NE.

1. I can trap it at 14,23 (or 1,1 in inner room coordinates) by timing well when I hit the orb.

2. but then no matter how I tried to hack the eggs/single roach
it would either get stuck on the S wall or W wall of the chamber

What to do ?

Talk about blindness! I was already doing all you said above , except fomehow I did not see the last move , and instead waited for the queen to respawn in my foolishness . Thanks for your great help

And . . . the third room I've been stuck in here for more than a month.

Clearly the wraithwing can't be used for blocking the roaches. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to put the previous hints to good use, either because they're conflicting or I don't understand them . . . the attached demo is my attempt to clear the room, and it's obvious I've missed something . . . where did I go wrong?

Try doing what you're doing, but make the queen spawn one square earlier.

I think I tried earlier what is being suggested . . . and it's got equally pointless results. Frankly, there doesn't seem to be a way to isolate the wraithwing beyond the wall while I'm releasing the queen.

I've re-tried the suggested approach, and have attached the demo (showing what happens when I start moving the queen one turn later and kill it immediately). It's a comedy short. What am I missing?
