I'm going to attempt to have this thread be where we keep track of who killed the most snakes. I say a snake kills another one if the dead snake would have lived were it not for the position of the killing snake's head.

E.g, eytanz killed Tim recently.

If a snake is killed because it had no more space to move, then I will term it a society kill. If N snakes help kill a snake, they each get 1/N of a kill.

So.

Society killed Banjooie.
Beef Row and Tim killed Niccus. (They forced him into a deadly path.)
Maurog killed McFrugal.
Eytanz killed Tim.
Society killed Ezlo.
tyrion killed TripleM.
Someone Else killed silver.
zex20913 killed coppro.
Society killed jamesdenem.
Society killed Tahnan.
Society killed Jolima.
Society killed Maurog.
Society killed Darkmatt.
Society killed Timo006.
Pinnacle killed techant.
Sergenth killed zex20913
Watcher and Mikko killed Beef Row.
Eytanz killed goldenlion.
Eytanz killed bflatjeff.
Hikari killed Pinnacle.
Hikari killed Tuttle.
Hikari killed Kevin.
Society killed everybody else unless otherwise stated. Society wins.

At the end, I'll tally up all the kills, and we'll see who the deadliest snake is, or if it's just society that causes all of these problems. I'm betting on society.

Society killed me. Even though I'm not quite dead yet.

Just to deconfuse next year's readers: This here thread refers to goings-on in that there thread.

I know. I'm just waiting for the event.

I thought it was Tyrion who killed Ezlo by bump-insteadda-jumping?

To paraphrase Batman Begins;

"That doesn't mean I have to save you."

Paraphrased because I'm not sure of the exact quote.

Either way, even though Tyrion could have saved Ezlo, he didn't, and I'm considering society to have done Ezlo in. There was no intent, nor direct interference forcing Ezlo to a death track (as in Niccus' case). Therefore, society will be killing Ezlo in approximately...15 minutes.

Tyrion will, however, actually kill TripleM. I can take some credit, since I'm the one blocking TripleM's backwards jump (and indeed, I jumped in my last decision partially because I anticipated this outcome), but my head will be out of the way by the time the death actually happens.

Actually, he's only in position right now; he still needs 2 more hours before he realises "uh oh, I can't move!" and dies.

Was that a response to me? I made the above post over 12 hours ago, hence the use of future tense - which is still appropriate.

If I were to credit you with the death of TripleM, eytanz, then I feel that I would also have to credit the 3 snakes in the top three rows. And then I'd have to credit any snakes that allowed them to be there in those rows, and so on, and that's an amount of work I don't want to take on.

Head blocking, and head pushing onto a path of death are the only things I'm going to credit. Even though there is a case for crediting you, I'm not taking that case.

*sigh* My fault again - I read that about fifteen minutes before he moved into position, so I automatically assumed you meant "next turn". :/

-Chaco, who should really check everything before he posts

Sure, I understand. But note that this has consequences such as follows:

Well, I might have jumped if it didn't mean my almost certain death on the hands head of Someone Else. That was my original plan, anyway, before I noticed that. So, I guess you could say that Someone Else forced me to force him to kill silver ..

None of this would have happened if Tim had bumped, of course, so it's obviously all his fault. :P

Think of it this way, I moved first. It's all my fault.

Are you still doing this? I killed both goldenlion and bflatjeff according to your criteria.

And I killed Pinnacle, Tuttle, and Kevin! Also possibly a couple more but I'm not sure if the criteria would count them.
