5 - 4 - mein gott, are you insane? I don't think I'd have the patience even if it were more legible and correctly spelled. Sorry you put so much work into it, though. Whoever you are.
6 - 3 - I like the video, even though it makes little sense. I don't see that it's really for the contest, though - it just seems like an ad for n0t dr0d.
7 - 4 - I think the corners of my lips twitched, anyway.
8 - 1 - Ah... maybe if I were swayed by star power.
9 - 6 - I've never been much for hex tiling, but I must admit this is swaying.
10 - 12 - No, I don't. I really don't. Feel free to tell me; this one kind of makes me angry as it stands.

×Entry #1: I was impressed that the entrant had found so much testimony from the forumites themselves, and even more impressed when I discovered I was one of them. Then I looked up the post, and discovered that I hadn’t said anything about pi, I’d said something about epistemology. So it’s all kind of funny, especially the minimike quote, but also kind of irritating.

Entry #2: Really, really funny. I’m not sure it won me over per se, but it’s extremely well put together.

Entry #3: Kind of funny, but it’s also visually kind of a mess.

Entry #4: I don’t get it. I mean, OK, “pixie”, got it, but I don’t know what it has to do with “pizza is a number”. Also, more importantly, there’s nothing about the Eighth in here; it might be a great number, but it’s not an explanation of why it’s a great number for the Eighth.

Entry #5: practically unreadable. And I’m not really sure why I’m reading it, because it’s not much of an argument for four as a number for the world.

Entry #6: Brilliant, of course. (Yes, this one was mine.)

Entry #7: It’s certainly an argument in favor of “four”. Of course, there’s not a lot of work put into it (not that I put a lot of work into my second entry, so how can I argue?).

Entry #8: I like it! Strong celebrity endorsement, visually striking, clear connection to the Eighth.

Entry #9: My head hurts. But it’s a very good piece, and I’m fairly impressed that the entrant put together images of a hex-grid version of DROD.

Entry #10: Brilliant. No, really. (This was a second entry from me, and I'll be surprised if it gets over a 5 total.)

1. Pi - Mine. Started from the classic "I lick pi", and expanded from there.
2. 17603.3 - Also mine. Impenetrable jargon comes as second nature in my line of work.
3. 7 - Nicely done with all the generic advertising phrases! For some reason, the clutter, while clearly intentional, seems maybe a little off in execution for reasons I can't really identify.
4. pi*e*i - Mm. The joke's all in the number chosen, I suppose. Cleanly done, but not really much to it.
5. 4 - I really don't know how to react to this. Probably going to go with the idea that I should be grading on effectiveness, not amount of work put in - with a little cleaning up at higher resolution, it would be an awesome entry for a contest that, um, isn't this one.
6. 3 - Really well done! O Fortuna is totally cliched though; perhaps the Infernal Dance from Stravinsky's Firebird suite?
7. 4 - You know, as much as I'd like to see a little more effort put into entries as a rule, it's actually pretty persuasive as is.
8. 1 - Doing this in DROD is a nice idea, but as a still image it's a pretty limited one.
9. 6 - Now I want to play this. Probably the only entry to present a real idea, loses a little due to the graphics.
10. 12 - No, actually, I don't. I suppose that's the point.
