Challenge #2: Assorted Games
This challenge will be simple, and you should be able to run through it on your own without my guiding hand until I return from my vacation. 12th Archivist will be sitting out for the Tar Technicians.
You will be competing for high scores in the following three online games:
Tontie:

Winterbells:

Poom:

Each player will have 12 days from the time of this post to email me (***address redacted***) screenshots of their highest score in each game. Each player will be sending me three screenshots, and I will only accept your first submitted shot for each game.
Now I realize that judging by screenshots is by no means airtight – I’ve got no way to stop you from doctoring images. We will be going mainly by the honor system here. If you feel like cheating, I’d recommend solitaire instead. Just to provide some safeguard against people gaming the system, I’m going to employ the following measures:
1. All screenshots should contain something that uniquely identifies the player in them, such as a sliver of your desktop showing behind your browser window. If you have questions regarding what would be acceptable, run your idea past me and I’ll let you know if it’s cool.
2. When the challenge is over, I will post all submitted screenshots collected in a zip file. If anybody can prove to me that a screenshot was doctored, I’ll review and take appropriate action.
3. Just don’t cheat, okay? Vote cheaters out. They’re just going to cheat you later, too.
After I have screenshots from everybody, I will begin tallying the final scores, one game at a time. If a player fails to submit, they score zero points for that game. All individual scores will be made public after the challenge is over, but that doesn’t imply you need to keep them private until then.
For each tribe, game by game, I will take all of the submissions, throw out the lowest score, and take the average of the remaining scores. I will compare each tribe’s average score for each game. The tribe with the highest average score for at least two of the three games will win immunity for the round.
Before I tally the final scores, there will be one final component to this challenge. I will inform you of it when we reach that point.
Not that I expect it, but if you’re having technical issues with the games on your computer, tough beans. Find a way around it. Play from a friend’s computer. It’s like the actual game of Survivor – it doesn’t matter if you can’t swim, we’re still holding the challenge in the water.
If you have any questions, ask away. If a majority of you (seven players, 12th Archivist not included) want to veto one of the games and can agree on an appropriate replacement, let me know and I’d be happy to make adjustments. I will likely be slow to respond, but I don’t think I’m going to vanish entirely between now and the end of the challenge.
The challenge starts now! Good luck!
PS: In Tontie, I will be accepting your score, not your number of coins. In Winterbells, I will accept “Previous High Score” as your score. In Poom, I will accept “Your Best” as your score.
