But to be serious, you can't distribute this file. The Alternate Floor (desert) is rather obviously a modified version of the Alternate Floor in the City style, and that's not allowed. And there are other things that look stolen, but I will dismiss them as "probably being from AE", which is allowed.


EDIT: Oh, another thing: Viewing a room with it causes the following error in drod.err:

Assertion error in line 349 of .\DrodBitmapManager.cpp: "this->
pTextures[PITSIDE_MOSAIC]->h == this->pTextures[PITSIDE_SMALL]->h"

Kitten, it seems you have used some graphics that were copied from DROD: The City Beneath. We can't let you redistribute them, so I've removed the attachment. I hope that you are not too discouraged to continue with your style mod. It seems you only need to make a few replacements so that you don't use graphics from our commercial games, which include:

* DROD: King Dugan's Dungeon
* DROD: Journey to Rooted Hold
* DROD: The City Beneath

If you wanted to use graphics from DROD: Architects' Edition, that would be fine, because we have released these graphics into the public domain, which means anyone can use them for anything.

To add to this, even though it's off-topic, you can't use the gel baby in your avatar either. You need permission first before using graphics in JtRH, and TCB. That includes the stand-alone KDD game.

Well, dunno if this has been said before, maybe it would be a good idea to change the copyright policy(is that what it's called?) in a way that forumites are allowed to use DROD graphics in their avatar, but not anywhere else.

If this were allowed, I would rather suggest it being changed to: "Distributable anywhere on the caravelgames homepage, but nowhere else. Forum inclusive."
So you can use it as long as you upload it on the caravel server itself that way.

No, because AE tiles are 14x14, and newer versions of DROD use 22x22 tiles.

No, but you can resize each floor image and things like that to 22x22 pixels.
Also add the music (if you like).

Takes pretty long, but it surely will work.
