okay, let me get this straight: you entered a room, a wall slammed down behind you, and you just want to drill through said wall?

sadly for you, the wall closing was part of an airlock system. the area on the other side of the wall filled with water after the wall came down. now that water is coming into the room you're in. on the plus side, it's really cold, and hypothermia might get you before you run out of air. (*)

merely"
compress the air to the same pressure as the water. but the water leaking into the room does trigger the safety which prevents the other side of the airlock from opening. either that, or this isn't really an airlock, but just one of those inevitable water traps from tv shows, and there's just enough holes in the ceiling that the room will fill with water without letting you escape through the roof.
