Fortunately, kitty was standing in front of a convenient defence turret. A quick move to the right and all is well. The asteroid is broken into fragments by the laser.

The attack did indeed miss. Unfortunately, it woke a tentacle beast from below who reaches out to stab the poor kitty!

Note, that some part of the laser still remained in uber-german-thing, hitting the tentacle and rendering it useless.

Through a strange combination of circumstances, Pacman, the ghosts and the laser being in the same place at the same time causes the reality of space to rupture! A purple vortex opens up that threatens to suck everything into it!
