This isn't quite as impressive a number but it's my favorite one. This thread seems like a good place to commemorate it.



I hit this almost by chance - I had 8657/8658 but one of those rooms was unsolvable. Schik marked that room unscorable, and disoriented helped me finish up One Step Ahead so I could see that nice result.

Thanks to both of you, as well as to everyone who's provided hints for rooms I was stuck on (whether I asked for them or someone else did and I just saw the hints later) and, of course, everyone involved in making the rooms and DROD itself. It's been fun getting this far.

Not as spontaneous as the 8658, I planned out the last few holds I finished to hit this number. With exactly 200 holds contributing to it.

I joined the forum the day TSS came out, so, uh, I did that all in a little under a year. I play this game a lot at times.

I'm going to toot my own horn too, first person to successfully record a score on 100 different scorepoints in DROD RPG.



Of course I'm sure a number of people could have done it earlier if the spider didn't have so many issues with processing RPG scores *cough cough*.

Oh hey, it's been a while since I checked in. And I have 100 more holds and 5000 more scores since then!



15000 scores in 300 holds. And I have every currently-obtainable challenge. (There's one in Pass the Hold Around that can't be earned due to scripting errors, but I have all the rest.)

300th hold cleared was Due Payment, previously only beaten by blorx1 and mxvladi.

In addition, disoriented and I have now, between the two of us, conquered every hold! At least until a new one gets published.

Thanks to Schik for marking unsolveable rooms unscorable so I didn't have to be haunted by an incomplete ratio, to the various architects who made all these holds, and to everyone who offered hints when I was frustrated on a room.

Now I think I'm going to take a bit of a break before I get back into intense DROD playing. Just in time for the holidays!

Nothing that can easily be screenshotted this time, but...

As of today, every published hold has been mastered (conquered and 100% of secret rooms done) by either disoriented or me.

There is, at the moment, only one room neither of us has a score for: one of two postmastery rooms in Tar Ballroom.

(Well, there might be some rooms we lose scores in while the updated-to-5.1 spider goes through everything, but we'll just do those again.)

It's been fun getting to this point, but there's still a lot of holds I haven't been through yet. Even if a lot of them are severely unpolished ones from the AE/JtRH days.

Contrary to the title of this thread, I am not going to toot my own horn. Rather I'm going to give a shout out to the two posters above. It looks like there's a very good chance the both Disoriented and Dragon Fogel will complete every singe published room with a high score within a couple of weeks at the most. That's 22,207 rooms! What's more is that they've booth been working on this task together (helping each other out with hints etc.) and are on track to finish at about the same time. Disoriented has fewer rooms left (Only 10 as of this post!) but Fogel has been going at a faster pace and they've been maintaining a remaining rooms ratio of about 1 : 25 for at least a week or two now. It seems proper that we should have a serious celebration for when they've both crossed the finish line! So get your party hats ready, it looks like it will happen pretty soon!
