Pardon the issue before, I didn't put the correct time in. Have remade the poll so it should be right now. Let's hope it sets the correct time!

Vote for the holds, out of 10. The entrants had to submit a hold using the template provided and using only Architect's Edition elements. The prize is a custom avatar drawn to your specifications to use in your hold(s). 130x164. Any other donated prizes are welcome.

The holds are attached in the reply to this post. It's allowed to vote 10 for your own hold, just be fair with the others. Voting will finish in a week.

We had 15 entries this time, almost as many as the previous contest. Excellent participation everyone!

I have a further contest in mind for after this one. I will run it if and only if no-one else wants to run a contest next, I've done two in a row now. I'm happy to run a third, certainly but if another person has a cool idea and wants a turn, they get it and I step out for the moment.

Yes, I've entered myself. If I win (unlikely) then the prize goes to the runner up, I'm only entering for fun.

:P If people are rating my holds high just because it's funny, that's not a very good thing at all. If they're rating them high 'cause they think it's cool then that's a good thing.

I'm gonna call out for a few hints or victory demos here. Specifically, for both of Ptanzoricis's entries. They are hard!

Bingbing, I'm giving your entry a 5 or 6. It was a hodgepodge of elements with no overriding puzzle. You conquer it in stages: first do the spiders and eye; after the serpent clears you do the middle bit; lastly you get the tar mother (who you can safely ignore while doing the middle). Nothing wrong with it, but that's all the satisfaction it gave me.

The intended solution was to use a goblin to block the queen from fleeing into the force arrow alcove and getting trapped.

That's the intended solution? Wow, seems really difficult. Plus, how do you do it for both queens?

bomber: It was to use wraithwings to get the queens to the snake panels. However, I couldn't make the queen reachable without letting the player get in the place and kill the snake with the wraithwings. I can give you the room if you wish.

Well done everyone who entered :) It's been a good contest with some really original ideas. Just goes to show that you don't need a big room to make it a good one. Perhaps someone could create a hold around that principle, with really tiny rooms?
