You'd have to go into more detail.
For example, for plain red Serpents, there could be several possible sub-themes.
1) Manipulating a serpent into a trap while avoiding other enemies
2) Keeping a serpent alive by manipulating doors
3) Killing a serpent by using an unusual element, e.g. just a wubba
4) Using a serpent as a timing device to limit the number of moves you can make
5) Using a serpent as a flow control device
And have the generator produce one of these instead of just "
red serpent"
So you could have a sample output of...
1) Keep a serpent alive while manipulating doors
2) Roach queens behind force arrows to produce hassling roaches
3) Trapdoors
With added constraint of
Room must be solved within a certain time, or tar blocks a path
Those are just samples, but if we created a series of possible sub-puzzles, and used them... they could conform to themes. You could have checkboxes to do that, e.g. "
