British? Born and bred in England, so I speak English English. Actually, I speak in a broad Yorkshire dialect, which is probably another language on its own.

BTW, my original post was jokingly referring to the stereotypical - in the UK at least - loud American tourist, and the also stereotypical UK tourist abroad, who thinks he/she can make johnny foreigner understand by speaking English
louder and s l o w e r.
Edit: For the record, I can only speak English. I was taught French and Latin, but as my education - for what it was worth - finished 42 years ago, neither are fresh in my mind.
