I have decided to make one of the first graphical styles for DROD - Journey to Rooted Hold.
Attached is a zip archive containing the files.
I'm not really done yet with it, but it's at the point where it is more than good enough to be released.
I intent to make obstacles, but this version does not have any yet(that are made by me).
I also think that some of the textures could be better, so eventually I may replace one or two of them.
If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations, feel free to post them, or even modify the style yourself and repost it.
There are several reasons why I made this style.
One main reason is that I wanted to help people to make mods of there own, by having another style to modify.
Another reason was just to see how much I could do with the Gimp.
The biggest reason, I think, is that I just feel that 3 styles isn't enough.
When I first learned that DROD 2 would only have 3 styles, I was somewhat disappointed.
Although the styles are much more detailed than they were in AE, I think that it should have had a couple more to cover all of the artwork in AE.
Some of the things that were in AE but are not included in JTRH are pits containing lava, slime, water, and spikes, as well as obstacles like pyramids, cones, fountains, and slime pools.
Although this style doesn't have most of these things, If I have my own style to base other styles off of, It should be much easier than it was the first time.
I hope this inspires other people to start making mods.

:: vylycyn's Sanctum 2 - a DROD 2 Style ::
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Information - This is a graphical style for DROD 2. I based
much of the style off of the DROD 1 style named Sanctum, and
that is where it gets the name "Sanctum 2". Adam Peterson's
Flaming Peligroso style was used as a reference, but most of
the artwork has been replaced. Any artwork not made by Adam
was made by me, using the Gimp. The files that make up this
style can be used however you want.
Installation - Place all of the files in this archive in the
bitmap folder of wherever your DROD data is located. Then in
the data folder, add "Style1=Sanctum" into the drod.ini file
underneath the line "Style1=Style1". If you have DROD 2.0.6
or earlier you can't use modular mods, so you don't add that
line to drod.ini, and instead you must rename Sanctum.png to
Style1Tiles.png. However, I would advise you upgrade to the
latest version of DROD.
