I had enabled email notification on that thread a couple of months ago, but then turned it back off. Doesn't seem likely that it would be related, but it might be worth a mention.

I've never posted in that thread nor ever turned on email notification for any thread.

I think I modded RoboBob down once because I was irritated by the spam ensuing from that game, but that was about it.

Exactly the same thing just happened to me. I've never subscribed to a thread by email, but received Jatopian's post here.
