I'm trying to write a script in which something happens once one variable equals another. I can't figure out how to do it. Does anyone know?

IIRC, it was
Wait until variable x = y
to wait until variable x equals variable y before moving on with the code.

This doesn't work (at least in 3.0) - believe me, I've tried.

In my version of TCB (3.1.0build54), it works.

You said you were a Mac user, right? You should get the 3.1 demo.

Edit: I'll provide the link soon.

It worked in 3.0.0 as well. Make sure you put the name of the second variable in the "Amount" box at the right.

Unless it's a text variable you are trying to make it equal. Then put $variable$ in the text box.

Sorry, I was tired when I posted that... I meant that I've never been able to add a variable to another (or multiply, or divide... etc.)

Can you give more details? I can't get it to work with text variables.

Paste this line into DROD (crtl-c in forum, ctrl shift-b in DROD), replacing X & Y with the respective variables.
Wait until var "x" : $y$

I just put this working addition test together in a 3.0 copy that I have in a backups folder. Let me know if it works for you.
