If only bald is a devil, blond lied (according to brown), which is not possible.
If only brown is a devil, blond would have said that there were 2 angels, brown lies about that, and bald tells the truth about brown being a devil.
If only blond is an angel, brown told the truth, which is not possible.
If only blond is a devil, bald lies, and that is not possible.
If only brown is an angel, blond would not have said that there was 1 angel, so brown lies, a contradiction.
If only bald is an angel, blond would NOT say that there was 1 angel among them, so brown is certainly lying, and bald's statement still holds. Just because bald points out that brown is lying about blond saying that there's one angel DOESN'T MEAN that there isn't exactly one angel.
If they're all devils, bald tells the truth, which is not possible.
So there are 2 possibilities. I think the first one was the one being sought, but the second is also valid, as it does not contradict any rules.
