Okay, someone, and I don't know who has been mooding down all of my old posts for no apparent reason. First I find that my very first post has been modded down, then the one where I ask about favourite holds has been modded down, and now a lot of modded up posts have been neutralised. Please please own up so I can find out what is offending you and fix it. I just want to know why I am being modded down. But if I get no answer, and this continues, I will have to bring this problem to administrator attention.

I can't answer your question, Pilchard (although you have my sympathies), but I do find myself wondering if this bit of, what seems on the face of it to be, petty malice is connected in any way with the odd voting in the new Holds?

Seriously. This sounds bad. I had my own experience with one of my holds being modded down for no apparent reason, and no explanation given either.

Oh, it wasn't me by the way.

Only 3522 need to deny it now, and we will have the culprit (I am assuming you didn't do it to yourself, and everybody here have honest souls)

I considered that, but the post was +5 only some 4 minutes after Pilchard made this topic when I saw it for the first time. It's not impossible, but I think it's more likely that the posts were used for something else before. I mean, why edit your first post nine months after making it?

Then, it could be a result of some free mods that have been thrown away before 'because someone was only ten points away from Smiter rank'.

I've not seen any weird modding myself lately. At most single cases in which the button was clicked accidentally, and not corrected afterwards... I can't see why someone would want to systematically waste mod points on that kind of thing.

I wonder - is there a modding history being kept somewhere, or is only the current moderation value stored with each post and simply updated with each mod?

Ah! I remember that +5 mod points for Pilchard's first post. I gave that as a present for the work he done on my Echoes hold - he doen the hold art, which I was very greatful for. That was the post he uploaded it to.
