What if some very improbable monsters had to be placed into DROD. How would they move? How would they attack?

The sloth: It moves one turn per room you visit. No-one has ever seen one attack, but allegedly someone once saw one think about taking aim after backtracking from the bottom floor back into to it's secret room on level 12.

The ADHD kid: It simultaneously occupies every single square in the room nothing else is on, and moves onto all of them. Non stop. 5 times per turn. If there is a monster or a Beethro currently on there, it will ask them if they like ponies.

Sting, and the police: They do not actually move, but... every move you make, and every step you take - they'll be watching you. It doesn't attack, obviously - it's too classy for that. It's people will attack your people, sometime during the next business day.

The living air: This is mostly here because the venerable developers needed to add another kind of tar for the next DROD, but were somewhat out of ideas. It is invisible, and can be killed by moving onto it, or by stabbing it from any angle. It spawns airbabies which are also invisible and die on the same turn.

The emo: It hides behind other monsters and inside tar, and basically just stabs itself every few turns.

The Quantum Bug. Appears only to the player and never the designer, then vanishes as soon as you post to the forum about it.

Insurance Salesman: Corners and sells you insurance. However, he goes away once he discovers that you don't have enough to buy insurance.

Lawyer: Corners and sues you for 'Unethical Treatment of Dungeon Roaches'. When he's done, he joins you and sues roaches for 'Unethical Treatment of Dungeon Delvers'.

Living Wall: It lives and taunts you. The player can't hear it, though, unless they're deaf.

Enraged Madman: Moves 3 turns for each movement you make. Yields two swords and can go through enemies without hurting them. He only appears in rooms with Pits and Water and can be killed by being lead off a cliff. He always starts over a pit or water.

I got one too!

-Homer Simpson

Moves 1 space ever two turns, but hits every last orb in the room simultaneously until they break. There is only one way to kill him. Run around the room and destroy the beer and donut spaces.
