Have you made sure that you've copypasted the key in exactly, spelt your username right and that the computer you're playing DROD on has an internet connection?

(just covering the basics first)

I'm not sure if this is relevant, but your forum name is Drodski and the name in your settings looks like "drodsKi".

It *looks* ok.

Only thing I can think of is that the key in the email has a space before the full stop. If I doubleclick the key in the email, it also selects this space and that's almost caught me out a few times.

I'd recommend carefully copying the key then pasting it. Other than that, have you tried requesting a new key?

Try requesting a new key, and entering your name as Drodski rather than drodski

Well, I change to Drodski and I request a new key. Same problem. Drod does not connect.

Have you check your firewall to see if it's blocking traffic to DROD? You might need to enable it as an authorised program...
