'The City Beneath' is a more common name than 'Journey to Rooted Hold'. Searching for it in Google turns up a bunch of non-drod stuff. About things, and cities beneath those things. Mostly the sea.

Of course, there is little publicity at the moment and it will be interesting to see how much the google ranking rises once the game is released. As of now, Google (Australia) has the first DROD-related reference on page 15. (unless I missed something)

Heh, now that's a sneaky way to get people to increase the rankings .

For the record, TCB is currently ranked 146th in a google search for The City Beneath.

Also, after searching 20 pages and hitting random ones after that, I could not find a reference to our TCB on google.(Although if you search within results, you can find it, so it must be there somewhere.)

Yeah, well - a page about TCB on caravelgames.com might just help it's publicity a bit, or at least give us something people could link to so Google actually picks it up...

When the H&S boards flood with questions from it, I think that Google and the CaravelNet Forum will be in agreement on the subject, in the same way as Insaniquarium.

Come to think of it, how come no one mentioned Insaniquarium yet?

The wikipedia stub article for TCB now comes up as the 11th google link for The City Beneath. Searching for it as an expression brings it up fifth.

The wiki article is currently fifth as a normal search and second as a phrase on google.com.au

It's eighth and fourth respectively on google.com

3.1 patch is just out, so let's see how things are (presumably before lots of press releases etc happen?)

Searching for The City Beneath on google.com

First -> wikipedia entry
Second -> GameSetWatch article
Fourth & Fifth -> caravelgames.com!

Google images has a couple of pics from mathpuzzle.com (although one isn't about DROD because google gets confused )
