Update on more changes from the past few days:
* The team fixed a room that couldn't be conquered if you exit it a certain way without clearing it.
* Fixed up and supplemented some help docs.
* Updated outdated screenshots on the sell screen.
* Fixed some bugs, optimized some internal operations and minor streamlining to the UI experience.

Edit: I think we're code complete on the latest new stuff that we discovered needed to be done. This cycle of finding and resolving issues has happened a good number of times during beta, but that's the point. I think this cycle has definitely helped us ferret out many issues both big and small prior to release. Still on target for the weekend!

Due to lies and statistics, neither option is probably correct. But through applying more statistics and averaging the projections, we come closer. I'm hoping we'll be releasing to pre-orderers on Friday night or Saturday morning.

Aw, just when I thought the timing was perfect - the majority of Saturday morning I'll be in a car! I can't play DROD whilst driving!

But wait... your Saturday morning is my Saturday afternoon... so hopefully it will be okay. Unless you release it on your Friday night, which is my Saturday morning, which will be bad...

...ah, I'm sure I will get to download and play it at some point after it's released.

(Although, if you could make it Thursday, that would be great!)

Oh that's okay -- like I say, I will get straight to TSS as soon as I can, it just may not be immediately after release! To be fair, I guess my plans of grabbing some of the first #1 scores are a little naive anyway!

I'm just excited to hear that finally the release is imminent. I think the amount of work gone into it is pretty apparent and it will be well worth the wait.

I just received a notice of last month CaravelNet service for me, so I just bought some more CaravelNet time just for TSS.

But I don't think 3 months is enough to play it through, right? Right?

You actually only need a caravelnet supscription
for downloading your purchased holds (like JtRH and stuff).
Once you downloaded them in TSS, you don't need it anymore.
Unless you want to play with highscores or want to support the guy(s) from caravel

Speaking to how long the game will take to play through, I guess it's *possible* to beat the game in under, let's say, 25 hours. But to complete everything, I'm guessing that time's closer to 40-50 hours. So, it's just as long as those epic RPGs out there. The beta period has been running nearly four months now, and it took players probably about 2-3 months to work through most everything. The disclaimer here is that we were working through various issues along the way, and I don't know how much of their waking (or sleeping) life they were devoting to solving DROD puzzles. Ultimately, I'm confident players will agree that there is more than enough content in TSS to make it an awesome game.

I really wish I was a part of developing and testing process of TSS.

How long is it compared to TCB? Absolute length would vary a lot, since that's largely based on how long it takes to figure out the puzzles.
