When i press F6 there aren't any demo. F6 it's only scoring my moves.

Why i can't see demos?

I haven't any Caraveltet membership from when i play drod. I always imported demos without it.

I need only to have a demo for complete a room -.-
And i always did it with pressing F6 and import demos.

Okay, so that's cleared up...

Why can't you import them? Do they not appear on the Import list? Do they appear, but when you import them nothing happens?

If they aren't appearing on the list, make sure you're checking the right folder. You might have started saving demos and stuff to the RPG folder or another common download place and not even noticed.

That means you're pressing F7 instead of F6 - because that's the key that toggles the move counter.

Have you tried pressing all function keys on your keyboard from F1 to F12 one after another? Several of them ought to cause other things to happen...

Also, if F6 doesn't bring up the demo screen either your Windows (or other OS) keymap is messed up, or the game's keyboard mapping is wonky although I'm sure you can't configure more than the few keys that are listed on the settings screen...

nah, the keys works with all programs. These don't work with DROD.

After you download the demo, can you find where it is on your computer? Before you try to open it with DROD?

Wow, you truly have us (or at least me) stumped. I'm going to start probing here, because you seem to have a real problem here.

1. Try making a new player and see if it has the same problems; different players have different key configs.

2. If that doesn't work, give us drod.err. I'm also interested in drod.ini, just because it's pretty much the only thing that is edited by the player that maybe could produce these effects.

3. Try reinstalling DROD. So that you don't lose your data when you do this, first export your main player to file, and make a copy of the entire DROD folder. Install DROD again, import all the holds you still have files for and then import the player. Then try F6.

It could be that some other program has registered F6 as a global hotkey for something; it might even be an icon in the start menu that has F6 set as it's hotkey (which I just tried) - as soon as that happens F6 doesn't work anywhere anymore...

Of course, how to find out what it would be is another matter...

Try to close all programs in the icon bar in the lower-right corner of your desktop. Then run DROD and try again.

I still think you should try making a new Player. If you go to Change Player, make a new player, and use it, does F6 work then?

Oh, and: Are you playing a hold normally or playtesting it in the editor? F6 doesn't work when playtesting. I think.

Does your F6 key work?

Depending on your OS - Vista uses F6 in Windows Explorer to switch focus, and most OS browsers use F6 to select the address bar. Worth a try...
