Below are my comments. If I was too harsh I am sorry I tried to be fair and give good feedback.

×I looked for the following to be used by the Wanderer in the puzzles as they were Wanderers features.
USED: arrow tokens, sword tokens, platforms, change gel tokens, transparent gel tokens, mirrors, switches, challenge complete token, tunnels.
mxvladi - "A Little Chaos": 7
USED: arrow tokens NO, sword tokens NO, platforms YES, change gel tokens NO, transparent gel tokens NO, mirrors NO, switches YES, challenge complete token NO, tunnels NO.
I needed the demo just to get out of the training room. Thank you for including them in the hold. I would have never figured out the "if you are a Slayer and you back into a gel it will die", trick in 1N1E with out it. While some may have enjoyed the Slayer, I thought that it took away from highlighting the Wanderer. Also you passed up a chance to use the gel tokens.
I didn't make this suggestion on the open board because I hadn't had time to play it all until the voting started but, I would have changed the order. The last rooms were better and easier than the beginning rooms. I also would have said drop the Slayer idea. Except for the gel room 1N1E, all other rooms could have been done with a Beethro character and that would have kept the Wanderer as the star.
2N1E: An interesting idea manipulating Wanderer movement.
2N: I found a different place to kill the rock golem, but I liked the idea it presented.
2N1W: Very good idea forcing me to use the Wanderer if I am to kill all the Wraithwings.
eb0ny - "Muddies Assembly": 6
USED: arrow tokens NO, sword tokens NO, platforms YES, change gel tokens NO, transparent gel tokens NO, mirrors NO, switches YES, challenge complete token NO, tunnels NO.
I gave this only 6 because quite frankly I just expected better from you. It was a confusing hold. It seemed like you took a hold you had and just added some rooms, and that Wanderers were an addon. It would have been better to have just used one level, as the rules required. Using just the rooms that really featured the Wanderers would have been enough and would have made a good hold.
Once down:1W - Wanderers were just a distraction like a roach, no really Wanderer challenge here.
Once down:1N1W is the first really Wanderer challenge room. It was a great room, but it didn't need the extra NPC to accomplish the same thing.
Ground Level: 1N1W was a true Wanderer puzzle.
Ground level: 1N was an interesting challenge. It would have worked with roachs too. Adding some token would have added a real Wanderer feature.
I was also bothered by the demo's not being included. I got stuck in Ground level:Entrance and could have used an easy access demo. Since it was only required that you have demos I didn't mark anyone down for this but I didn't get any further because I didn't have time to go ask for a demo. From Build I could see I was almost done so I just quit.
Rheb - "A Strange Creature": 8
USED: arrow tokens YES, sword tokens YES, platforms YES, change gel tokens NO, transparent gel tokens NO, mirrors YES, switches YES, challenge complete token YES, tunnels NO.
Clever story and I liked the labyrinth aspect to this hold and the choice of hard or medium. I picked medium and the rooms were a good medium difficulty. They also did a good job showing off the Wanderer with arrow and sword tokens and mirrors. I would have like to see more variety in the puzzles with a gel challenge, a platform challenge and a use of tunnels.
I looked at the difficult section but I never would have gotten passed the first room. I would have like the demos in the hold so I could have seen them. Buy my review of them in the Build showed they were variations on the ones I saw. You cleverly submitted two holds in one, so I only judged you on the one I played.
The biggest issue was that at the end I realized there was no way to conqure the hold because you could not go back to the entrance and do the other section without restoring, which basicly erased what you had accomplished. You needed a path back to the entrance. Which could have been done easily.
2S1E: I had not thought of the sword token, and while others used it too, I still think this was the best.
2S3E: This was a fun challenge the combo made it very interesting. A true Wanderer puzzle.
3S1E: A much more clever use of arrow tokens then I came up with, I really enjoyed it. Thanks for all the saves.
1S1E: Another interesting play on sword tokens.
Secret Room 3S: I never figured out how to get in. No demo included so I gave up.
I was disappointed that you didn't have tunnel or gel challenges. Your platform puzzles were a very limited use of platforms. I wanted more...
hyperme - "Wanderer": 6
USED: arrow tokens YES, sword tokens YES, platforms YES, change gel tokens NO, transparent gel token YES, mirrors YES, switches YES, challenge complete token, tunnels YES.
A good tutorial but it should have been so much more than that.
techant - "A Wanderer Showroom" 9
USED: arrow tokens YES, sword tokens NO, platforms YES, change gel tokens YES, transparent gel token NO, mirrors YES, switches YES, challenge complete token NO, tunnels YES.
I tried to make an interesting story and include all the challenges that were unique to a Wanderer. That is items only a Wanderer or you could activate. I even made a testing area that I later turned into a lab testing room in the hold, but I missed the transparent gel, sword and conqure tokens completely so I marked myself down for it.
VIPCOOL - "FW VIPCOOL" 7
USED: arrow tokens NO, sword tokens YES, platforms YES, gel tokens NO, mirrors NO, switches YES, challenge complete token YES, tunnels NO.
We both did the same idea with the L shaped platforms and a mass attack. Yours was a smaller version. But, I never even tested the sword on off feature. Good thinking. What you did was good but I wanted more then you gave me. What about gel and mirrors and tunnels and arrows?
Thank you those who made comments, here are my comments on the comments.

A rather good hold, explores a lot of wanderers' possibilities. I didn't like puzzles as much, because some of them are not fun (1N, I'm looking at you).

Nice and good hold. Puzzles aren't too hard and some of them aren't fun at all, but hold is good.
Thank you both for the feed back I am sorry they were not fun. I was tring too hard to make them difficult I think. Can you take a little extra time and effort and tell me more. Which rooms were better then others, what was not fun about it etc. I am trying so hard to improve and it would help so much to know. If you are too busy I understand and am glad for the feedback you gave.
Also, eb0ny sorry but I didn't get the comment (1N, I'm looking at you), can you explain? Or am I just dense. This was on of the room I liked to play myself.

I have been continually playing contest on the forum since Dec 2004. Having often been addressed as a he my new avatar shows that I am a "
Lady"
. And one with a very sharp sword, too.
I love the monthly contests but it took me a long while before I even placed. 21 contests in fact.
Virtual Burning Man was the first contest I took any place in and I got 1st, wow!. Yes, I have received my prize, a sweatshirt from the DROD store, and I love it.
It took 14 more contest but next I took 1st prize in Media of the Eighth Nov07, followed by a win in the Secret Santa 2007. Check out my entry:

Suddenly I was a winner but, still the goal of a winning hold based contest eludes me....
I keep trying so come and join me.
