OK. I am feeling generous. Caused by a combination of brandy, a wonderful christmas dinner, some lovely presents and spending time with my family. And it's Christmas Day, the very day for generosity.

Therefore, I'm running a quick unofficial contest over the next 3-4 days. And because I'm feeling generous...

The prize is a Smitemaster's Selection credit, which I will buy for you Not quite sure how the system will work, but I will send Caravel the money for it, and they should be able to credit it to you not me.

So, you can download one of the premium great holds Fancy taxing your brain with the evil of Beethro's Teacher? Want to go back to classics with King Dugan's Dungeon 2.0? Or do you just want to find out what happens in between JtRH and TCB.

Well, you can. As I'm providing the prize, I'm sole judge Whichever entry I judge to be the most deserving gets the SmS.

And to enter, it's simple. Provide a piece of DROD-based fan contribution to the community, and attach it to this thread. It might be a piece of DROD fan art. It might be a poem. It might be song lyrics, it might be a song you wrote yourself and recorded. Don't attach holds/levels, I'm looking for contributions that aren't architecture based Bonus points for trying to stay within canon. But be creative and original, and you'll do well.

Go to it! Oh, if you win but you already have all the SmS-es, then you may allocate the credit to someone of your choice.

EDIT: Just to clarify something - no photomanipulations unless you took the original photo, or you can prove it's public domain/creative commons. Just to stay on the right side of copyright.

Hmmm, anthems in themselves aren't a bad idea ... here's one for Dugandy; like all anthems everywhere there is a part that's slightly more martial than strictly necessary.

Also, are you telling us that he's not in the official DROD RPG hold? And that DROD RPG has holds?

Maurog won, but since he has all the SmS'es, he has declined to claim the prize. He has requested that the SmS credits go to lia, and so the prize goes to her.

I have thus forwarded the entire text of the email from Caravel to lia via PM, letting her know how to claim the SmS credits.

Thanks for playing everyone, but Final Fantasy 1 and DROD together just won it from Maurog
