Oh dear, am I really the first person to struggle with this room?

To be truthful, it's not the whole room that's the problem. It's the last two goblins.

I conquered the first two by

Unfortunately, there are no such tricks available in this part of the room. If I weren't constrained by

So they get me every time, because I'm unable to manoeuvre them into a corner.

If you mean the first room - you should have 12 moves before the first spawn in there.

In the 3d room. I have to kill one of the goblins in 9 moves. But no matter how I go, I have to step on (32.19) pole. And that's exactly perfect way for them to get out of the corner.

UPDATE: Nevermind, I've done it. And didn't actually understood how. Better go watch demo. Thanks anyway.

I seem to be very stupid because no one but me had trouble with the second chamber. More specifically, I get overwhelmed when the queens spawn. Any hints?

EDIT: Okay, second chamber's roaches are killed - H&S effect, again...

i've done this before, but have since had to format computer, so no longer have my demos from beating the room. i can't get past the second chamber with roaches and for the life of me can't remember how to do it.................................er, never mind, the rule of post and solve it worked

Cripe! 9 moves to kill the goblins in chamber 3! Keep them in the NE quadrant! The orb must be struck with either NE or SW. The best I've been able to do is to kill 1 goblin one time only. Can't even figure out how I did that because I can't do it again. Please help!

If that's the door that's closed by the fugundo, you're going to have to do the room again... and NOT step on any power tokens.

Since I am akin to a stubborn little kid who doesn't want daddy to help him clear that level in his video game for him when he throws a tantrum that he can't do it, I'd rather not watch the demo, and instead ask, how the hey are you meant to do the 2nd part with the upper chamber? The first (bottom right) chamber is, quite frankly, a piece of cake. It's the second chamber that's getting me, and it's just its opening bit.

First, stay on the force arrow until you've cleared out the roaches that formed while you were working on the first chamber.

It'll take a while, but eventually you'll just be dealing with one wave at a time. At that point, you want to leave the force arrow as soon as it's safe to, deal with the last few roaches, and rush for one of the queens. This is likely to be tight, but once you have it down to three it's more manageable. Just be sure to head away from the corner first, so you have some room to retreat; you'll need to at some point.

The NW corner is the closest, so I went there first. The chamber is symmetrical, so there's no advantage to bee-lining to another queen. Watching my demo back, after clearing out all the roaches I reached the tile SE of the NW queen on the turn it spawned, with my sword facing E. If the timing's too tight, you might be able to get some wiggle room by staying on the arrow for another cycle after clearing out the backlog of roaches.

I did the challenge for this room, or so I thought, but it didn't unlock. I'm attaching the demo, could someone tell me what is wrong? The challenge is that the goblins can't step on force arrows and no monster can stay on open yellow doors for more than one turn after they open. So either it's broken or I'm missing something. Does Beethro count as a monster? TIA
