Hi all

Message name says it all.

It says it is possible to fix this by closing other games or multimedia applications that use this, but I literally only have this open. Well, Steam as well, but I can't launch it without that.

It was working fine until yesterday. There is a different graphics card in the computer now, I don't know if there is a setting I need to change there?

Any help appreciated!

It might not be help but have you tried reinstalling? In my experience DROD on Steam is really good with its upload of your progress to the cloud so you should be able to get right back to where you were once you've redownloaded.

Yes, I did try reinstalling, I also verified the validity of the game cache, all good but won't load.

I also checked and I do meet the system requirements.

I appreciate you raising this issue. I'm sorry for the trouble.

Nothing has been changed in the DROD RPG build on Steam for a long time. I have no idea what would cause the application to stop loading properly, especially after a reinstall.

Maybe an OS update? What OS are you running Steam on?

That might be the problem, its Windows 7 professional, and I know it needs to be windows 10 to get updates these days. Not sure why it goes from working for a few days in a row to nothing at all now though.

I am getting an updated computer within the next 2-3 weeks so that may sort it anyway.
