Any chance of getting DROD on the Nintendo Switch? I'm guessing probably not, but it would be cool to see it happen.
Two main issues I can see are the resolution (DROD is 1024x768 and Switch in handheld mode is 720p) and the Switch doesn't have dedicated buttons for diagonal movement.

While there isn't DROD for Nintendo Switch, you might be able to get it working on the Steam Deck.

I was contemplating doing the work to mod controller support in for PC just to see what it would feel like but never got around to it.

Isn't this basically trivial with any number of programmes allowing for custom keybinds on controller? There's no need to actually mod it in to the game if it's just to try.

Take a look at my community layout "DROD twin sticks v4" for the Steam version of TSS. Left and right joysticks handle movement, bumpers for rotation, triggers for right/left mouse buttons. Right trackpad for mouse, Left with a touch menu with some options. Also added a button for magnifier (scrolling using right trackpad or gyro).
