I don't understand how to set it up so the builder goes in that path.

I have to clear the mud along the east side or along the north side in order to reach the western tar.

But removing all the eastern mud makes the builder go from the NE plate to the SE one. (skipping SW plate)

Removing all the northern mud makes the builder go from the start to the NE plate. (skipping NW plate)

Cut the tarstuff on the 1's and 2's, but avoid cutting anything between 3 and 4.
