Argh! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that Super Smash Bros 3 was released today. I had heard a lot about it via the Smash Bros Dojo, and a few other places, but now the suspense is killing me, knowing that they've got their hands on the game, yet we've got to wait at least another 2 months for it. To make things worse, I recently uncovered some very cool new information regarding the characters present, and now I can't wait any more! I've been thinking about it all day and the suspense is driving me nuts!

Is anyone else really excited about it's release, or am I just insane?

Well, I could, but I'm unsure if the Wii can play import games or not. Also, I wouldn't have a clue what is going on with regards to the Subspace Emissary, seeing as all the text will be in Japanese. It was a cool idea though.

AFAIK, the Wii is region-locked, so unless you have a Japanese Wii, you're out of luck.

Plus, I can wait.

God knows how. I heard Datel are working on a freeloader for Wii, but I think that's coming out after Smash Bros. It's a lose-lose situation when you think about it, because either way we have to wait for ages.

Wiis are overrated and underrated at the same time. On one hand, the games are awesome. On the other hand, it lives entirely off of a single game every quarter or so.

Did you play Metroid Prime: Corruption, LoZ:Twilight Princess, and Super Mario Galaxy yet?
If you have a DS, play Advance Wars:Days of Ruin.

Well, this is it. March 8th. If my predictions are correct, there should be queues of hundreds of people all across America. Can someone tell me if this is the case? You know why that is... Tomorrow is March 9th, and that can only mean one thing for the gamer, NTFS SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL!!!1

On the subject of the Freeloader, I'm gonna wait until I know the PAL release date, and if it takes too long, I'll try to get my hands on a copy of either Smash Bros Brawl or Diarunto Smash Bros X, and a copy of the PAL freeloader.

Right. I've just done some research into the release date of Smash Bros in Europe. I'm not happy at all. Everywhere I look online, they say that it won't be released until AUTUMN! Now quite frankly, I am seriously annoyed with Nintendo at the moment, so I've decided to get a Freeloader as soon as my EMA comes in, then order it online, because I'm not willing to wait three months for the greatest game ever.

I am told that we're getting preferential treatment for Mario Kart Wii.

Also, we have Mega Man 1 and 2 and River City Ransom on the Virtual Console. For those that don't know, these are excellent games - Mega Man's a non-linear platformer, where once you beat a boss you get their weapon (and Mega Man 2 is considered the best of the lot - having played some of the later ones, I'm inclined to agree); River City Ransom (known in Europe as 'Street Gangs') is a brawler-RPG hybrid.
