I took a quick glance. It very much resembles Multimedia Fusion, Game Maker and the others. Apparently, the innovation lies in these game templates from popular genres, so you don't need to code the engine yourself. The downside, of course, is more clones and less unique games - and these "kits" could be done at any time in TGF/MMF/GM if people felt like it. I'm not gonna complain if it's free and open source, but it does make me wonder what's in it for the developers... are they just a bunch of well-meaning gamers or some sort of business?
