So I figured that if it worked when I ran and jumped of from close to the edge, it should also work if I did it from standing on the curved metal tube at the end. I landed flat on my back. And it hurt.

What do you do in your spare time?: That would very much depend on -which- spare time? The one I have at base or the one at home? With the former, that would be playing Half-Life, playing the piano, learning Japanese and reading books.. and with the latter it would mostly be playing whatever on the computer, currently NWN2, Company of Heroes, DROD, and Half-Life 2.

If you could be stuck on a desert island with one person (alive or dead, and you can't pick Beethro), who would it be?: There are many people I would be "glad" to be stuck with on an island. I mean it in the good way.

If you could describe your personality with one word, what would it be?: Unpredictable. In fact, a few days ago two girls at the base were telling me exactly that. They were saying it was impossible to tell whether I would think positively or negatively about a random subject, and that it would seem sensible that I would support either extreme view on it. Then I was testing them and asking them what they think I would think about something, and either one said an opposite side, guess it's true. :o

Favorite Band: I like a lot of different types of music. Alternative, Ska, some rap, Classic Rock, straight up Classical. I'll say TMBG just for fun.
Favorite Movies: I watch a lot of movies. Really tough to decide, but I'll say Super Troopers, because I went to college in Vermont. Oh, and anything by Miyazaka (Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, which is not even remotely a translation of the Japanese title). My favorite is probably Kaze no tani no Naushika, which if you haven't seen you should. Also Tenku no Shiro Rapyuta, or Castle in the Sky. Also a must see.
Favorite Books: I tend to like fantasy books. Harry Potter jumps to mind. R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt books are also up there. J.R. Tolkien. I really don't like a writer unless they go by there first two initials. Oops, I guess Diana Wynne Jones is up there too.
Time playing DROD: I played the webfoot version of KDD back in college, which I think was late 2000, 2001. I beat it then, and didn't think to look for it again until a couple years ago when I found JtRH, which I mastered without hints as I didn't really actually look at the forum after buying the game. It wasn't until after I beat it that I came back again and realized the forum was here. I couldn't count the number of hours I've played.

What's the origin of your screen name: Well... long story. I spent a year abroad in Japan while in college where I joined a Japanese Ultimate Frisbee team. We went to Hawaii to play in a tournament called the Kaimana Klassik, and while there saw a restaurant called Captain Zack's. From there a nickname was born. Zakku is the English version of how you would say Zack in Japanese. The name I play DROD under was my nickname when I played Ultimate in college here in the states.

Ultimate Frisbee is played on a field that looks like an (American) Football field, with two end zones, and 7 players per team on the field. One thing I HATE: My neighbors upstairs. WHY do they always have to be a couple with at least one a-wol kid that runs around all day? Especially on the days when I get no sleep at all. Hmmm...I used to be that kid
