This may be a question, or a feature request. Anyhoo, now that we have a couple new styles for DROD 2, is there a way to save the style as a whole style itself (without replacing one of the official styles included)

I may not be a coder, but wouldn't implenting this option be a piece of cake? Not only that, I think it will insipire more people to mod up some more styles.

Comments?

No, it's not a piece of cake. Nevertheless, DROD 3.0 will allow flexible, dynamic addition of new room styles at will and hopefully a cleaner system of style distribution.

Super, more room styles would be great.

Actually, I'd love to see more types of objects. The rocks, bushes, house, etc are great. Maybe some treasure. I'm sure there are plenty more nice objects that would be fun.

Huzzah! I have often thought it ridiculous that JTRH has only 3 styles. At least the 9 AE styles could have been added. Hopefully more music, too...

Jatopian: if you really, really want to try to produce realistic looking slime, water, lava...what else were in those nine? --AGAIN, and have them be up to JtRH quality, plus produce more obstacles...etc, etc, go ahead.

Because of the additional music and flooring, there's actually more graphics and sound in those three styles then there were in the nine AE styles.

I really should start the style idea I had...

There are indeed more graphics and sounds in the three styles of JtRH, but AE had more variety. At least I think that 9 completely different, although not so detailed styles add more variety to gameplay than 3 more detailed styles. (Custom styles would boost the score of JtRH, but you can't create a hold with 4 or more different styles at the moment.)

And about music, I liked AE a little more. But that's not a big point, because JtRH music still is not bad.

I wasn't very impatient during the first few months of JtRH, but I'm beginning to wait for DROD 3.0 more and more every day... (Where's the bar? ;))

Ah! The people have spoken! Yeah, it would be fun to have the bar back...I've suggested a few times to Mike and Erik that it should be put back up but for various reasons, it hasn't yet. Still, no harm in other people asking for it!

Game on,
