As mentioned in passing in
this thread, I seem to be repeatedly triggering an issue where my game state (player file?) gets corrupted and all progress in all holds is reset. The Restore command on the main menu no longer works after this point, and I have to restore the entire /Users/user/Library/Application Support/Caravel/drod-5_0/ folder from my backups.
This issue is still happening in Mac DROD 5.1.1.740.
The problem might stem from corruption with my preexisting drod-5_0/ folder, so at some point I'd like to start fresh, redownload all holds, and re-import my player profile. For this to happen I'll need to get a new Windows build (since my latest player progress is currently on the Windows version) and export my player file from there.
These issues need to be resolved before that can happen.
