I'm surprised I somehow neglected to review this when it came out. This is my favorite of the holds Xindaris has published so far and is really worth checking out. The hold is one level based on the rather interesting theme of having to take a bunch of roaches from a container and use them to hold down pressure plates. That theme is explored in increasingly convoluted and interesting ways and the hold does a really nice job of keeping things fresh.
Even though the theme is very consistent, there is still some variety of style here. Some rooms focus more on a linchpin embedded in setting up the room, while others focus more on managing a horde of brained roaches. But none of the rooms feels tedious or particularly long. None of the rooms takes more than 500 moves to clear and most are in the 100 to 200 move range. The puzzles are fun to solve and nothing is blindingly difficult.
The hold is
mostly open format, and you can explore most of it after solving a few preliminary rooms. While there's nothing super original here, it's a good fun play and definitely worth a try.
