If you view my demo for Chicanery:1E (in the cheap trick compilation), you see that the bridge drops into water (as expected, this isn't a revivification of that issue). However, the mimic on the trapdoor is still there. AT THE SAME TIME, the eastern bridge, which should drop, doesn't. So basically, I solve the room without using the cheap trick. :P

Thanks for the report. Simply put, the game identifies each individual bridge with a specific ID. Dropping a trapdoor flags that ID as about to drop at the end of the turn. But building something on a bridge that affects its supports will cause its ID to be erased and the bridge recalculated. Since this action disrupts the order of IDs, this was then causing a different bridge to drop than the dropped trapdoor should have done.

This should hopefully be fixed in future versions of TCB and GatEB.
