Allow me to note that this phenomenon is not entirely confined to the US, however:

100% no doubt she is an actor. She barely shows any signs of embarrassment, and her replies are designed to be funny.

Sorry Zonhin. She's absolutely no actor. That's Kellie Pickler from American Idol. Just a simple girl with simple thoughts. She's just used to playing off of how un-worldly she is.

Haven't posted or played in a while (for various reasons unimportant to anyone except me and mine) but I really wanted to share this video with those who haven't seen it. No matter what your politics, you have to admit it's pretty powerful. It was done unsolicited by will i. am of the Black Eyed Peas, who was inspired by Obama's speech after losing the New Hampshire primary. If you haven't seen it yet, check out the "Yes I Can Song".

P.S. To be clear: I am Canadian and, while I can't say I am uninterested in the election results, I am -- at least at the individual level -- disinterested. I am only posting this link because I think the video is pretty cool; I'm not out to influence anyone's vote.

There's a zip file quine on this page. You can download it by clicking on the image. If you don't know what that means, try unzipping it and its contents until you do.

I down modded the previous post because I don't think this forum should be a venue for political propaganda. I was going to post a pro-meat link, but I think I would rather just say that anecdotal videos do not represent the SOP for an entire industry(and even if they do I still love steak).
If God didn't want us to eat animals why did he make them out of meat?

I'm just amazed by the way in which you support cruelty. I mean, sure! Go ahead and eat meat. It's quite obvious that humans are biologically "meant" to eat meat. However it's not obvious that humans are meant to be incredibly cruel to animals in order to save a few cents. If we eat meat I think we could at least treat the animals in a way that isn't downright torturous.

Exactly. And if you're going to kill the cow for the beef, why not wear the leather as well? Use the whole animal, people! That's my argument against everybody who is against wearing animal-hide, but eats the meat of those same animals.

This is a flash game, where the player has to guide a ball through a maze to the finish. But instead of controlling the ball, one has to rotate the maze to reach the objective.

Darths and Droids

A screenshot webcomic. Star Wars played as a tabletop RPG.

Hrm, if I describe it like that, it doesn't sound as good as it actually is.

*looks for better description*
The basic premise of the comic is that the Star Wars films depict the action of a role-playing game and this strip shows the dialogue between the players and the Game Master. The Star Wars universe is presented as an original creation of the GM, and the players are completely unfamiliar with its unique elements, such as Jedi.
thanks, star wars wiki thing!

David Blane's Street Magic Part One

This is really funny. It does have some very bad words in there, but it's really cool.

David Blane's Street Magic Part Two

Even better, but still has a bunch of bad words.

David Blane's Street Magic Part Three

Possibly the best. The magicked people probably lightened up a bit on the swears.
