Make funny/insightful/useful posts and people will mod you up. The reasons you are losing points are because you don't contribute, use bad punctuation, and make spammy irrelevant topics. Stop doing this and I'm sure people will mod you up again.

You have an interesting definition of "need". The only thing that you can't do with low rank points is make hyperlinks - which is easily circumventable with some creativity.

To be more specific, you need to get at least 12 rank points in order to post hyperlinks, as stated here.

The problem I have with giving an idiot their comeuppance is that their idiocy often stems from young age. Just because they deserve being laughed at now does not mean they deserve to be laughed at in the future. However, since the kid will probably remember being treated very harshly, they will not be coming back in the future, the future being when they are not idiots.

If the present-idiot is smart enough, they will realize this and come back, knowing full-well that they deserved it, kinda like Jeff_Ray.
