Looking at this hold again, I understand what is supposed to happen here. After the roach moves towards you, you take damage. When you step on the tile that sends it away, you deal damage to it. Basically, the point of the battle is to (since there isn't anything else you can do) survive the roach until you "
kill"
it.
However, NPCs that don't partake of battle do not die when their HP is reduced to zero. That means the player can "
battle"
with the roach NPC even after it reaches zero HP, eventually resulting in the player's death.
From previous evidence, you're not likely to heed this and will instead either forget about this project or work on it slightly until it becomes barely acceptable for HA admittance. Good night.
