Alright, so I attempted to script a Wubblade in my hold. However, stepping on the sword does nothing. In the following example hold, you will see that stepping on the Wubblade's blade does nothing.

Fix it soon, please.

If that's a deliberate design decision, this game is Daikatana. And I don't want it to be. If you give a non-sworded monster a sword via scripting, you are MAKING A NEW MONSTER. As such, it should work. So uh... can we get this fixed pretty please?

Yeah, it sounds like a bug. I'll look into this. (You're trying this in 1.1, correct?)

I've fixed this bug for the next patch so that NPC monster types with default swordless behavior will now strike properly when given a sword.

I think this fix could break some stuff, though.

Don't get me wrong, I really do believe that the sword should hurt the player on its own, but people could reproduce this with "Behavior Attack target in front".

And people can turn it off with "Imperative Sword safe to player", going right back to old behavior if they need it. Not really that difficult.

EDIT: To be fair, 'Sword safe' also protects other enemies from sword hits, but does not protect tarstuff and will also activate orbs. Current "non-sworded" monsters wielding swords won't harm tarstuff or orbs. So 'Sword safe' won't give you *everything* the old behavior did. But on the flipside, I don't think anyone will miss it. (And if they do, there's other ways of dealing with it anyways)

Please name them if you find them, since I couldn't find them. In that case, we might need to fix them. Although I doubt it.

Things in Architecture board don't count, because those belong to the architect's own responsibility.

There's one crucial difference between a sworded enemy and an "Attack in front" enemy: the former gets first hit when you walk on its sword, which you may be forced to do if it's in a one-tile-wide corridor.
