Time and again I've been reviewing a demo of mine to give hints for a room (who doesn't? ) and wished I could simply right-click on a tile to get it's coordinates while viewing the demo instead of having to cancel demo playback, restore to the room, get the coordinates, run the demo again and fast-forward through it to where I was...

In fact, I'd like to take it a bit farther. When watching a demo, I'd like my mouse to get me all the same information it does when I'm playing the room. Not only would I like to see coordinates, I'd also like to see movement order, monster type (specifically character vs. monster), door associations, bomb radii, and smell ranges. I use all of this information when writing hints.

To stop watching the demo, I'd like to press either ESC or 'R'.

Hmmm... come to think of it, I wouldn't mind having only one key to end a demo, as opposed to any (unused) key - it's too easy to accidentally end demo playback, and it says "ESC - Menu" in the lower left corner anyway...
