I don't own the full version of any DROD game, so I don't know the following:

How is the 39th Slayer different from a normal slayer
What exactly is the Slayer's move pattern?
How do you kill Green snakes and Green Slime?
What the #(*& is a Fergundo?

They move the same way; he simply taunts you differently.

What exactly is the Slayer's move pattern?

Erm... pass. Suffice to say they're quite good at not getting killed.

How do you kill Green snakes and Green Slime?

The green snakes (Adders) are vulnerable in the head - stab them there. They also have the ability to eat 1x1 monsters and invulnerable tarstuff. The green slime (Gel) can only be stabbed on inside corners.

What the #(*& is a Fergundo?

Once you step on a Power Token (the token with a star on it) all Fegundos in the room will fly in the direction you face each turn. When a Fegundo hits an obstacle, it explodes like a bomb but with 3x3 area. It then turns into ashes for five turns, before returning to normal.

Hope that helps!

Technically, the fegundo's explosion is a square of "square radius" 1.5 --- that is, it explodes in a 3x3 square centered on the fegundo. I know this is a bit of a nitpick; I just didn't want anyone to get the mistaken impression that a fegundo explosion is 1x1. (So, give an exploding fegundo a bit of breathing room.)

It's probably also worth pointing out that Fegundos are vulnerable while in the ash pile form and can be killed permanently by swords, briar etc.

It's also good to know that gel babies (which appears when you stab gel) will move like golems.

39th slayer COULD be seen as the antagonist of JtRH, he's used in JtRH, and has a different voice than normal slayers. I guess he was included in TCB for version compability.

For making holds, it may be useful to know that only 1 39th Slayer is allowed to be placed in each room at a time. :) (You can have as many normal Slayers as you like can fit in. ;)

Actually you can have more than 1 39th slayer in one room if you just copy it (tested it myself a few seconds ago). doesn't work on room edges though.

Or you could just make a 39th Slayer NPC with the first command as "Turn into monster", and copy it as many times as you like. Which is why the 1 per room thing is still stupid.

Yeah... I didn't think of remember that that I did that in JtRH. Good point. D'oh. :selftwak

Relay Stations are basically 1x1 stations that can be one of 16 colors. Also, that's where citizens come in! What station a citizen is closest to, the citizen will turn the stations color and run to that station. If there is a build marker in the room, then a citizen will run to it and build that marker. A marker is an element that fades in and out over a tile. When successfully built, the element will become real, overlapping the element below. Also, when successfully completed, a citizen will go back to their station depending on their color. If there is more than one station of the same color, the citizens that go to each station are either evenly divided, or the closest goes to the closest. If there are more than one citizen that goes to a particular station, they will all group around it. A builder will go back to their station once they have finished a marker, and if there are more markers to finish, the builder will go to and from the station to complete their duties.

Does that explain enough to ya?

Also, the persistent citizen movement token stops citizens from giving up on relay stations that become blocked from them.

Please read through the thread before posting. Jatopian already covered that possibility.
