So here's my first hold. It's nothing too fancy, it's only 3 levels with 13 rooms each, but I want to know what you guys think about it. The difficulty curve might be a bit much for some, though.

May I just say that it's really nice to have someone doing classic AE holds :) Well done you!

What would be even nicer is if someone would play the hold and give ReploidArmada some feedback. So that's what I've done.

I've played the first two levels. The stairs at the end of 1st Basement end the hold, so I wasn't able to see the third level. (This kind of stair bug often shows up in the exported hold, but not in the architect's version of the hold. The solution is to delete the stairs, replace them, and then re-export the hold.) It's a fairly easy hold; I'd rate it at 3 brains of difficulty. Many of the rooms have trivial solutions. I'd give it 5 for fun. You've given me a variety of stuff to do, but not much to figure out. Optimizers may enjoy trying to complete each set of tasks in as few moves as possible.

Ground Level
1E - I didn't need the mimic or the invisibility potion.
2E - I killed the tar mother before the first spawn.
1N1E - I didn't need the invisibility potion.
1N - I didn't need the mimic or the invisibility potion.

1st Basement
1S1W - I didn't need the mimic.
1N - Optimizers will trivialize this room, by running through without killing the goblin, and then reentering from the north.

Sorry. My comment did look a little... careless there. I'm just very short of time to actually play DROD :S Not had a chance to play any levels, betaing or otherwise for a few weeks.

I enjoyed it. Not terribly challenging, but then I'm in the mood for entertainment right now.
