People who want to subscribe to CaravelNet often get confused when they register an account on CaravelNet (the forum, that is) and then can't use CaravelNet (the service). How about we change the forum banner to just say "Caravel Forum", and also change anywhere else "CaravelNet Forum" might be written in our FAQs/docs and links to just say "Caravel Forum".

I would agree with this one. Having it named CaravelNet Forum implies that it and CaravelNet are one and the same thing, and membership of the former gives you the latter. A change would work.

We'd need a new logo of course...

That looks good to me Wouldn't be too hard either, I hope. Just a quick grep of the site and replace every usage of "CaravelNet Forum" with "Caravel Forum"

I honestly almost never look up there anyway. I think of this by its web address, rather than the title of the forum.

I don't mind the name change--I'd be unaffected by it.

I've updated the logo to the "Caravel Forum" image for the Caravel-themed skin. Just Ctrl-F5 (or whatever) to get your browser to refresh cached images in order to see the change.

I haven't seen this text anywhere else. If anyone finds instances of it, please let us know and we'll fix 'em.

It's just a name for the skin, like "Naked bear in a snowstorm" or "OMG! Ponies". I don't think many people will get confuzzled by that; I'd bet most people didn't even notice that option...

Flawless consistency issue: the TCB 3.2.83 exit screen still says "CaravelNet Forum" in the full version. I'm guessing that it applies to JtRH as well but I can't really be bothered to check it right now.

I think a naked bear is less rare than a clothed one. Thus the adjective serves little purpose.
